Manchester United and South Korean footwear brand Sbenu have today announced an agreement which will see the company become the club’s Official Casual Footwear Partner in the country.
As part of the agreement, Sbenu will have the exclusive rights to produce and market Manchester United-branded casual footwear in South Korea.
Established in 2013, the company has already seen rapid growth and is popular among South Koreans of all ages.
Manchester United’s Group Managing Director, Richard Arnold, comments: “Sbenu is a popular brand in Korea and we look forward to seeing the Manchester United crest on their products. Having recently opened its 100th store and soon to be opening its 100th franchise, we are confident these products will be attractive to our 15 million South Korean fans.”
Sbenu’s CEO, Hyo-Jin Hwang, comments: “Sbenu has quickly gained market reputation and become a household name in South Korea for its continued commitment to product and marketing innovation.
